Job Summary: The Maintenance Technician I is an operations lead and apprentice level maintenance technician with advanced maintenance responsibilities for the reliable operation and maintenance of the plant’s manufacturing, processing systems, and physical property. Included activities are operating equipment, completing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, identification and usage of proper tooling, and completing small physical property repairs. This is a full-time, permanent position with Reddy Ice that includes a competitive hourly wage, a full benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a company-matching 401(k) plan. Requirements

Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of work experience in an industrial maintenance operation
Must be able to work with both hand and heavy electric tools and lift a minimum of 45lbs

Nice To Haves

4+ years of work experience in an industrial maintenance operation
Completion of ONE of the following Certifications:
Programmable Logic Controller Certification- Electronics Technicians Association International
Journeyman Certification/License in Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical Disciplines-State Certifying Authority
Certified Assistant Refrigeration Operator- Refrigerating Engineers and Technicians Association
Certified Maintenance Technician Level III- International Maintenance Institute
Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician- Society for Maintenance and Reliability Professionals
