The company is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support the operation and upkeep of water and wastewater treatment facilities and lift stations in LaBelle, Florida. This critical role involves ensuring equipment, vehicles, and systems operate safely, reliably, and efficiently by performing routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities across various mechanical equipment and infrastructure, in close collaboration with site leadership to achieve operational goals.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of mechanical maintenance experience
  • Experience maintaining equipment used in water and wastewater treatment facilities, including pumps, motors, collection systems, chemical feed systems, and landscape maintenance equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read meters, gauges, drawings, panels, and other technical materials
  • Basic proficiency in reading, math, writing, and verbal communication
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions accurately
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and supervisors
  • Valid Florida driver’s license with a safe driving record
  • Willingness to work varied schedules and respond to emergencies as required

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities across a wide range of mechanical equipment and infrastructure
  • Work closely with site leadership to meet operational goals
