Woodard & Curran is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support the operation and upkeep of our water and wastewater treatment facilities and lift stations in LaBelle, Florida. This position plays a critical role in ensuring equipment, vehicles, and systems operate safely, reliably, and efficiently. The Maintenance Technician performs routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities across a wide range of mechanical equipment and infrastructure, working closely with site leadership to meet operational goals.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of mechanical maintenance experience
  • Experience maintaining equipment used in water and wastewater treatment facilities, including pumps, motors, collection systems, chemical feed systems, and landscape maintenance equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read meters, gauges, drawings, panels, and other technical materials
  • Basic proficiency in reading, math, writing, and verbal communication
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions accurately
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and supervisors
  • Valid Florida driver’s license with a safe driving record
  • Willingness to work varied schedules and respond to emergencies as required
  • Successful candidates will be required to complete a DOT background check, DOT pre-placement physical and DOT drug screen before employment
