About The Position
We are working with an established Plastics Manufacturer based in Erie, PA. They are recruiting for an Maintenance Technician to join their team on any Shift in return for a salary in the region of $32 - $38 p/h along with shift differential, excellent employment benefits which include 401K, Healthcare, Vision and Dental.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two years of Machine Maintenance experience
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical or electrical systems in machinery and facilities
Responsibilities
- Maintaining mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues including motors, controls
- Replace bearings, rewire motors, and test/verify repairs on automated systems
- Maintaining Injection Mold Machines
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated maintenance issues
- Welding and fabrication
- Participate in new equipment installations, upgrades and modifications and monitor PLC software
- Machinery installations and assembly
- Conducting preventative and reactive machinery maintenance
- Read schematics and maintenance manuals to perform repairs and installations
