Maintenance Technician

About The Position

Primary Responsibilities Partner with Maintenance and Facility leadership to reduce equipment downtime and improve operational efficiency Repair production equipment safely and efficiently following breakdowns Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues Fabricate, modify, and install new or existing equipment Support continuous improvement projects and assigned initiatives Follow all safety protocols, including proper PPE usage Comply with all NOV policies, HSE standards, and quality procedures Maintain a clean and organized work environment Perform other duties as assigned Job Duties Ability to work overtime and shift schedules as required Stand and walk for up to 12 hours per day Perform frequent bending, stooping, and repetitive movements throughout the shift Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs. regularly Push and pull equipment or materials throughout the shift Travel up to 10% as needed Education and Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required Experience in fabrication, mechanical, and electrical repair using shop tools preferred Forklift certification preferred Ability to read and use precision gauges, drawings, and technical instructions Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use hand tools Willingness to be cross-trained and learn multiple job functions Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and reliability Veterans Welcome At NOV Fiberglass Systems, we value the dedication, discipline, and skills that military veterans bring to the workforce. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to read and use precision gauges, drawings, and technical instructions
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use hand tools
  • Willingness to be cross-trained and learn multiple job functions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and reliability
  • Ability to work overtime and shift schedules as required
