As the Maintenance Technician this role will consist primarily of performing repairs and maintenance to the building and equipment. Specific Responsibilities: Routine maintenance and repairs on equipment such as heating and a/c units, blowers, scrubbers; jaw crusher, and ring mills; General building maintenance such as replacing ceiling tiles and painting; Light plumbing and carpentry work; Welding; Work with contractors and/or suppliers; Be available for on-call projects; Must possess a valid driver’s license to go on errands for the department; May be required to do maintenance at other ALS USA sites as needed Must be able to pick-up, purchase and transport building materials and maintenance items; Assists with maintaining all log books and maintenance records/schedules; Ability to complete unsupervised mechanical work such as: change belts, bearings, shafts, and basics equipment repairs. Ability to determine the requirements of a maintenance project; May order and arrange for supplies; Observes established safety regulations and comply with all ALS health and safety policies and procedures Other duties as assigned.
