About The Position
The maintenance technician is responsible for supporting production, facility, building and support equipment repairs, maintenance and preventative maintenance. This position reports to the Master Scheduler. This position is located in Gainesville, GA.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in maintenance.
- 2-year technical degree preferred.
- Must have technical and IT experience such as Microsoft systems and MaintainX.
- Must be able to operate a forklift.
- Must have welding experience.
Responsibilities
- Trouble shooting and repairing all production equipment.
- Creating and completing PM's in MaintainX in a timely manner.
- Understanding of electric, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.
- Use tool manuals, technical documents and other resources.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks daily/weekly/monthly.
- Trouble shooting and repairing all support and facility equipment.
- Installing and changing electrical circuits as needed.
- Ability to communicate with vendors.
- Able to perform in a team environment.
- Required following all safety rules, use of proper PPE, and report any safety concerns.
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
