About The Position
Renold Morristown is recruiting for a skilled Maintenance Technician who who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, solving mechanical problems, and keeping production running safely and efficiently. In this role, you’ll be a critical part of our operations team, maintaining and repairing the equipment that powers our manufacturing facility.
Requirements
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Mechanical and electrical repair experience
- Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, or schematics
- Motors and drives
- Pneumatics and hydraulics
- Industrial electrical systems
- PLC troubleshooting (preferred)
Nice To Haves
- Education or certifications in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or related trades
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment
- Diagnose equipment issues and implement effective repairs to minimize downtime
- Maintain conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, and other industrial machinery
- Perform equipment adjustments, alignments, and component replacements
- Assist with installation and setup of new equipment
- Maintain maintenance logs and equipment documentation
- Follow all safety procedures and lockout/tagout protocols
- Support continuous improvement efforts to increase equipment reliability
