2nd Shift Maintenance Technician
About The Position
This position is responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. Candidates must have the following trouble shooting skills: Ability to troubleshoot using laptop to PLC Ability to troubleshoot down to the board level Ability to program a PLC Possess a good understanding of ladder logic Have experience with Omron, Mitsubishi, PLC and touch screens Have working knowledge of solid state control, power distribution systems, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and power transmission Perform preventive maintenance on industrial production and facility equipment. Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning industrial production equipment Perform upgrades to equipment that supports improvements to safety, quality and on-time delivery Ability to read and utilize electrical and mechanical schematics and blueprints.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years electrical experience in Industrial manufacturing
- Ability to troubleshoot using laptop to PLC
- Ability to troubleshoot down to the board level
- Ability to program a PLC
- Possess a good understanding of ladder logic
- Have experience with Omron, Mitsubishi, PLC and touch screens
- Have working knowledge of solid state control, power distribution systems, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and power transmission
- Candidates must be able to operate basic shop tools and equipment
- Electrical Maintenance: 3 years
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
- Related work experience is required
- Basic computer skills
- Candidates applying for positions with Aisin must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with robotics and digital servo drives is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Carry out daily instructions and assignments given by Team Leader or Supervisor
- Maintain equipment through preventative maintenance activity
- Improve equipment by carrying out corrective maintenance activity
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment using test equipment and/or software provided, and apply knowledge of troubleshooting
- Work safely - following all safety instructions and standards
- Communicate all daily activity
- Inform and update work status
- Submit all paperwork at end of shift
- Perform preventive maintenance on industrial production and facility equipment.
