About The Position
Performs semi skilled work in the maintenance and repair of buildings and associated equipment/systems.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- Two (2) years general knowledge/skills of the following: – minor electrical – minor plumbing – minor carpentry – minor repair of doors/windows, including hardware – painting, including minor wall repair – general building maintenance
- Must possess maturity in judgment, have demonstrated professionalism, creativity, and ability to get along with widely diverse personalities
- Individual must have a valid drivers license and be insurable by the University, which includes maintaining a low risk driving record
Nice To Haves
- Minor HVAC skills
- Refrigerant recovery certification
- Trades related certifications/training (documentation req'd)
