About The Position
Fluker Farms is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to support the operations of our facilities, and equipment by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. Founded in 1953, Fluker Farms is a family-owned business located in Port Allen, Louisiana. Fluker’s offers PTO, 401(k), health insurance, and other benefits to all full-time employees.
Requirements
- Experience with A/C systems, plumbing, electrical systems and general maintenance
- Ability to do heavy lifting, work on ladders, and stand for long periods
- Bilingual (Spanish and English) is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled maintenance on production equipment, A/C systems, and building systems to prevent breakdowns.
- Equipment may includes forklifts, tractors, conveyor belts. commercial sifter, water systems, and other machinery found in the farm
- Adhere to all safety policies (OSHA), environmental regulations, and company procedures
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- You may perform other duties as assigned
