About The Position

This role is primarily focused on completing apartment make-readies (unit turns) and supporting general maintenance across our St. Louis-area properties.

Requirements

  • 2–3+ years of residential or multifamily maintenance experience.
  • Strong make-ready / unit turn experience required.
  • Working knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in varied conditions.
  • Comfortable using smartphones and digital reporting tools.
  • Employment contingent upon successful background screening.

Nice To Haves

  • Trade experience in plumbing or electrical preferred.
  • Applicants with experience in apartment maintenance, hotel maintenance, or handyman services are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Complete apartment make-readies from start to finish.
  • Perform general repairs including minor carpentry, painting, fixture replacement, drywall, and hardware installation.
  • Complete basic plumbing repairs (toilets, faucets, disposals, supply lines).
  • Perform minor electrical work (light fixtures, outlets, switches).
  • Ensure units are fully functional, clean, and move-in ready.
  • Respond to work orders and document work through digital systems.
  • Maintain organized and safe maintenance areas.
