About The Position

Ready to be part of something special? Join our Family! Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift - 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. To work in a food manufacturing facility. Responsibilities: Plan and implement installation, modification, and repair of equipment. Ensure machinery and electrical equipment operation by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines. Locate sources of problems by observing electrical devices in operation. Remove defective parts by dismantling devices. Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges. Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques. Fabricate repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment. Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level. Prepare mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with safety procedures, rules, regulations & GMPs for the facility

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of general maintenance experience in a commercial environment is required.
  • Demonstrated Organizational Skills.
  • Good Math Skills.
  • Knowledge about AC/DC Drives.
  • Certified in Lockout/Tagout Procedures.
  • Reading/Comprehension Abilities.
  • Ability to Work Independently.
  • Ability to Identify Problems and Respond Accordingly.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with PLCs is Preferred.
