Requirements
- 3+ years maintenance experience (healthcare preferred).
- Working knowledge of life‑safety codes (NFPA, Joint Commission readiness).
- Valid driver’s license; ability to lift 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life‑safety systems.
- Respond to work orders and urgent requests; document in CMMS.
- Support environment‑of‑care rounds; partner with EVS, Security, and Nursing on safety fixes.
- Assist with vendor coordination and inspections (sprinklers, generators, medical gas).
- Coordinate with rounding providers and daytime interdisciplinary teams to keep care plans moving.
- Support safe discharges and smooth handoffs to evening/night teams.
