About The Position

High’s Convenience Stores is expanding, and we are looking for skilled Maintenance Technicians to support the maintenance and upkeep of our current and future store locations. Our in-house maintenance team plays a critical role in keeping our stores operating efficiently. In this position, you will respond to dispatched maintenance requests, perform general repairs, and provide emergency service support to ensure our locations remain safe, functional, and customer ready. If you have experience in general maintenance, restaurant equipment repair, plumbing, or electrical work, this is a great opportunity to join a stable and growing company.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience with facilities maintenance
  • Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair maintenance issues efficiently.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and respond to multiple service calls.
  • Basic computer or mobile device skills for work order systems.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in commercial cooking equipment, facilities maintenance, and/or equipment repair preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to maintenance service calls and work orders for store locations.
  • Perform general facilities maintenance, including repairs to plumbing, minor electrical systems, and building fixtures.
  • Repair and maintain small restaurant and convenience store equipment.
  • Troubleshoot maintenance issues and determine effective repair solutions.
  • Assist with maintenance projects and tasks assigned by the Technician Supervisor or dispatch team.
  • Use company-provided tools, laptop, and mobile phone to document work orders and communicate job status.
  • Prioritize multiple service requests and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Follow company safety standards, communication protocols, and check-in procedures.
  • Maintain assigned company vehicle and fuel account in accordance with company policies.
  • Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned.
