Maintenance Technician
About The Position
We are looking for an HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preventative maintenance, diagnosing, and recommending upgrades on HVAC systems in residential properties. You will work with advanced diagnostic tools and ensure all systems operate efficiently, delivering exceptional service to our clients. For more than 80 years, HELP has provided HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services to families throughout Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, and Southeast Indiana. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; completion of a relevant HVAC training program or apprenticeship.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HVAC technician.
- Valid HVAC technician license and driver’s license.
- Strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
- Perform routine HVAC maintenance to prevent future issues and improve efficiency.
- Make light HVAC repairs when needed or recommend replacements.
- Communicate clearly with homeowners, explaining any issues and next steps in a professional, friendly way.
- Follow all safety protocols including local and state HVAC codes.
- Keep detailed notes on recommendations, service visit details, and parts usage logs.
