About The Position

National Star Services, a 27-year facility management company with nationwide operations, is hiring a skilled Industrial Mechanic/Technician to join a stable company in Chicago, IL 60612.
This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity for a hands-on maintenance professional who wants to grow his maintenance career and values safety, teamwork, as well as quality work.

Monday–Friday | 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM (1st Shift)
Overtime available

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical & electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding (Required)
• Manufacturing maintenance experience required
• Basic computer skills for work orders
• Reliable transportation
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to start ASAP

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical & electrical systems
• Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment
• Fabricate and repair components as needed
• Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, and power transmission systems
• Complete work orders using computer systems
• Maintain safety and quality standards
• Collaborate with team members on technical issues
• Be available for overtime and on-call coverage when needed
