About The Position

Our Maintenance Technician performs general maintenance and repairs on the Tank Farm, Warehouse, facilities, equipment, forklifts, trailers, and trucks.

Requirements

• Ability to operate an industrial powered lift truck or forklift according to company procedures and governmental regulations
• Ability to use and maintain respiratory protection equipment
• Ability to learn proper methods for handling hazardous materials and wastes, with training
• Ability to drive truck- Class A license a plus.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to perform general welding a plus
• Ability to perform computer work and be able to operate excel, word and Outlook a plus

Responsibilities

• Performs manual warehouse duties as assigned including but not limited to painting, rack identification, and replacement of light fixtures & light bulbs. May also trim trees and complete outdoor maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Completes various welding and fabrication projects
• Completes general Tank Farm maintenance including pump and hose inspections
• Completes necessary research for non-standard maintenance & repairs requiring the purchase of materials and/or employment by outside contractors or vendors
• Monitors progress of outside contractors to ensure timely and proper repairs
• Provides guidance and assistance to less senior maintenance workers
• Serve on company’s in-plant or off-site emergency response team
• Performs required testing, repairs, and re-certification of IBCs
• Comply with all company policies, rules, and guidelines
• Perform all other duties as required.
• Will conduct regular monthly facility inspections
