About The Position

Position is primarily responsible for the effective operation of facility packaging equipment, material handling equipment, and the maintenance of plant facility equipment and grounds. Is assigned to and responsible for specific equipment in the plant and where feasible is employed in the preventive maintenance and repair of this assigned equipment.

Requirements

• Capacity to learn technical operation of wide range equipment.
• Capacity to perform preventive maintenance and repair of electrical circuits, mechanical gears/links, pneumatic lines, and control devices.
• Desire to expand knowledge base, learn the application of new equipment, or better utilization of existing machinery.
• Industrial Maintenance Degree
• Industrial Electrical Degree

Responsibilities

• Electrical Troubleshooting and Repair
• Mechanical Troubleshooting and Repair
• PLC Troubleshooting and Repair
• Operate PIT equipment along with aerial lift equipment.
• Maintain all equipment in optimum operating condition.
• Track and report on equipment down-time and preventive maintenance actions.
• Implement and maintain a preventive maintenance program for assigned plant equipment.
• Perform scheduled work assignments, assisting in the completion of tasks as needed.
• Train and develop technical abilities of equipment operators assigned to machinery.
• Assist in all actions required to prolong the durability and reliability of equipment.
• Overnight travel and off-site work at other MAHLE facilities as required.
