Maintenance Technician
About The Position
Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Cylinder Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance of all industrial/specialty gas cylinders in a plant environment. Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Proficient in mechanical operations or skilled in mechanical tasks
- Knowledge of equipment such as hydrostatic and ultrasonic testers, and maintain certification requirements
- Ensures accountability through excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates personal ownership for safety and actively contributes to a strong safety culture
- Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift 40-70 pounds occasionally
- Willingness to work overtime

Nice To Haves
- Gas industry and cylinder maintenance experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Consistently achieving results while repairing leaks, inspecting, and disposing of defective cylinders, and painting cylinders
- Knowing the most effective and efficient processes of testing, repairing, converting cylinders, receiving new cylinders and supplies, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Operate a forklift to move product throughout facility
- General cleaning tasks and basic facility maintenance
- Other duties as assigned
