As a vital part of our property management team, you will be responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of our properties and ensuring a pleasant living environment for our residents. Our ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and has a commitment to delivering exceptional service while ensuring that buildings and equipment are kept in optimal condition.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience, preferably in a residential setting.
Able to sit, stand, bend, crawl, and stoop for extended periods of time.
Able to push, pull, lift up to 50lbs regularly.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general repairs.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues effectively.
Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Basic computer skills for logging requests and maintenance records.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
Respond promptly and effectively to resident maintenance requests and issues.
Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address maintenance needs proactively.
Maintain and update maintenance logs and records, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Work with the Property Manager to prioritize maintenance and repairs based on urgency and budget.
Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or services.
Assist with preparation of units for move-ins, including minor renovations and paint touch-ups.
Maintain the grounds to ensure clean, safe, and orderly external property conditions.
Participate in on-call emergency maintenance rotation as required.
