As a Production Mechanic at New Wave Global, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of our machinery. Your responsibilities will encompass inspecting, diagnosing, and resolving issues with electrical, hydraulic, and air systems. Collaborating closely with machine operators, you'll communicate effectively to troubleshoot malfunctions and facilitate prompt repairs. With unwavering attention to detail, you'll contribute to the smooth functioning of our production line and daily machinery setup, ensuring that our products consistently meet the highest standards. Independently identify and repair equipment issues within assigned area with minimal supervision Promptly respond to equipment related issues with customer-oriented manner. Diagnose and repair electrical problems to include process instrumentation/control systems, 120-480-volt systems, variable speed drives, and PLC related issues (primarily Allen Bradley but some other systems may also be included) Perform preventative maintenance, and safety inspections. Diagnose mechanical problems, provide quick & innovative solutions for mechanical equipment breakdowns by applying proven skills in the principles of mechanics, fitting, plumbing, metal fabrication, troubleshooting, and analytical problem solving. Modify, repair, install, maintain, improve, and troubleshoot various types of machinery, equipment and facilities in the manufacturing departments. Setup, takedown, and relocation equipment. Frequently modify process equipment for new products Provide solutions to routine or unique equipment problems.
