About The Position

Why This Role Stands Out Succession opportunity: The current Maintenance Manager is planning to retire and wants to train the right person to take over the role Direct hire with full benefits and overtime available Competitive pay: Hourly rate is flexible based on experience Work-life balance: Day shift operation with limited after-hours needs Schedule Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM Occasional after-hours work, but the plant operates on a single shift Compensation & Benefits Annual Christmas bonus Perfect attendance incentives Healthcare stipend Dental & vision coverage 401(k) with company match PTO and paid holidays Paid training for industry certifications and automation advancements What You’ll Do Develop and manage preventive maintenance (PM) schedules Identify future equipment needs and recommend capital improvements Drive machine efficiency, uptime, and output improvements Troubleshoot and repair: Electrical systems up to 480V Pneumatic and hydraulic systems Extrusion equipment and PLCs Perform hands-on maintenance and repairs Utilize and help optimize CMMS systems Support fabrication and repair work (MIG/TIG welding preferred) What We’re Looking For Strong hands-on maintenance background in a manufacturing environment Experience with electrical systems, controls, and automation Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting Welding experience (MIG/TIG preferred) Experience with CMMS systems A proactive mindset with leadership potential This is a unique opportunity to learn directly from an experienced leader and step into a key role within the plant. Requirements

  • Strong hands-on maintenance background in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with electrical systems, controls, and automation
  • Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting
  • Experience with CMMS systems

Nice To Haves

  • Welding experience (MIG/TIG preferred)
  • MIG/TIG welding

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage preventive maintenance (PM) schedules
