Position Summary We are looking for an experienced maintenance worker to join our maintenance department. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for inspecting and performing basic repairs on various machines and equipment, such as Burning Tables, Grinders and Mill Machines, Overhead Cranes and more. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a maintenance role, and be highly skilled with various hand powered tools, read blueprints and repair manuals, electrical and mechanical knowledge, and exceptional time management skills. This position will train on 1st shift, then move to an off shift (2nd shift or 3rd shift) to maintain the maintenance needs of the operation. Conduct routine inspections of machines, equipment, and premises. Perform preventative maintenance on machines and equipment to prevent production downtime. Handle basic repairs. Oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary. Diagnose mechanical issues and ensure they are corrected in a timely fashion. Operate all equipment and machinery in a safe manner, according to appropriate procedures. Ensure the safe handling and storage of volatile supplies. Other duties as assigned. Requirements

Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts
Skilled in use of hand and power tools
Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices
Must follow all safety protocols
High School Diploma or GED required
Strong machine maintenance and electrical troubleshooting skills
Experience working with 240/480 and up to 600V electrical equipment
Read wiring schematics and knowledge of VFD and PLC programming
Fabrication and welding experience
Able to read and understand blueprints

Nice To Haves

Related degree from technical college and/or certification preferred
