Design, implement and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLC) and troubleshoot and maintain all electronic and electrical equipment. How You Will Make Contributions That Matter Troubleshoot electrical issues and equipment breakdowns. Effectively support the PM program while keeping downtime to a minimum. Perform preventative and repair maintenance on production equipment, heating and cooling systems, ingredient handling systems and plumbing systems. Start machines and equipment to test operation flow repair. Record preventative maintenance tasks and work orders in a timely manner. Complete work orders and respond to mainte nance calls on the production floor in a timely manner to prevent downtime. Install, maintain, repair, and overhaul production equipment. Install and maintain electrical equipment/controls, circuits and PLC. Troubleshoot and identify worn parts and rebuild machine assemblies, pumps, meters, valves, valve actuators and other equipment. Safe handling and use of various chemicals with strict adherence to hazardous communication and requirements. Train others as needed and able to influence others.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two year college or technical school or six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and understand instructions.
• Must have a solid organizational, analytical problem solving and communication skills.
• Maintain good sanitation and housekeeping of work areas.
• Work in a safe and efficient manner.
• Requires regular attendance.
• Ability to manipulate, lift and position heavy equipment
• Able to bend, stoop, kneel and crawl, occasionally climb steps and safety ladders, continuous walking and standing
• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50lbs
