About The Position

The Maintenance Tech Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Maintenance Supervisor with the upkeep and repair of all physical plant facilities and equipment for the branch. This includes ensuring that assigned maintenance and daily cleaning functions needed to maintain the building and grounds are conducted efficiently. These duties will be performed while practicing the "Y" values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.

Requirements

  • Highschool education/GED preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • CPR/First Aid, AED certification
  • Reasoning ability and able to follow instructions
  • Basic customer service skills

  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs and conduct routine checks on all equipment.
  • Assist with inspections, troubleshooting, repairing, replacing parts, and maintaining all mechanical/electrical equipment in the facility.
  • Supervise and organize maintenance staff and activities.
  • Ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks and projects.
  • Provide training and feedback to maintenance staff.
  • Monitor inventory of supplies and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules.
  • Coordinate with other departments to support facility operations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to policies related to boundaries with children and teens.
  • Attend required abuse risk management training annually.
  • Report suspicious and inappropriate behaviors and policy violations.
  • Follow mandated abuse reporting requirements.
  • Adhere to job-specific abuse risk management responsibilities.
  • Ensure unused rooms and closets remain locked; routinely monitor high-risk locations (locker rooms and bathrooms), etc.
