Requirements
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Strong experience with mechanical conveyors
Nice To Haves
- Electronic experience preferred
- Glass processing knowledge a plus
- PLC experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical work including changing bearings, belts, and idler pulleys on trough-style conveyors
- Clean and replace pneumatic valves on optical sorting machines; maintain organized work area
- Communicate equipment issues with mechanics and supervisors across shifts
- Conduct PM and repairs on bucket elevators, screw conveyors, forklifts, front-end loaders, and sweepers
- Install facility machinery as needed
