WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Maintenance Technicians are responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent operations. This role performs preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and equipment calibration, and interprets schematics to support proper equipment operation. Technicians also maintain work orders and repair records, utilize hand and power tools to service mechanical and electrical systems, and follow all company safety policies as well as GMP and SQF standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • A minimum of five (3+) years industrial maintenance experience to include mechanical, electrical, and PLC, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering designs, installations, maintenance, and repairs
  • A valid driver license in good standing
  • Forklift Certification
  • Strong electrical and mechanical experience, preferably in a food processing environment
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage priorities and workflow
  • Flexibility and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
  • Display a positive attitude and work well with all levels of personnel, whether individually or in a team environment
  • Must be able to effectively manage time by organizing and planning work
  • Must be able to use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties
  • Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Effectively communicate questions, problems, and reports to co-workers, supervisory and management personnel
  • Flexibility to accommodate unscheduled changes in duties and work overtime as needed
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Willingness to perform mechanical maintenance and repairs outside of business hours
