From preventative maintenance to troubleshooting mechanical issues, you will approach challenges head-on while delivering high-quality service and professionalism. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining community standards in both occupied and vacant apartment homes.
Requirements
- Previous experience in building maintenance, property maintenance, or related trades
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and general repair work
- Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently
- Task-oriented with strong time management skills
- Comfortable working independently and meeting recurring deadlines
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation
Nice To Haves
- HVAC certification or EPA certification preferred (if applicable)
Responsibilities
- Perform HVAC repairs, plumbing, electrical installations, and general maintenance throughout the community
- Complete service requests promptly and professionally to ensure resident satisfaction
- Conduct routine unit inspections and preventative maintenance
- Prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents according to established quality standards
- Maintain overall community appearance, including common areas and exterior spaces
- Serve in an on-call rotation schedule (any 7 days of the week throughout the year as assigned)
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
- Maintain accurate records of completed work and maintenance logs
