About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team on 2nd shift. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment to ensure smooth daily operations. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced environment, ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping equipment running at peak performance.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a fast-paced environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience working on forklifts, conveyors, dock doors, and related equipment
• Welding and metal fabrication experience required
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and safety practices
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and web-based systems
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physically demanding work
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with LEAN and 5S principles is a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the upkeep system, including tracking work orders, scheduling repairs, and managing parts inventory
• Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment such as forklifts, conveyors, and dock doors
• Install, maintain, and improve mechanical systems and equipment
• Perform welding and metal fabrication as needed
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and company procedures
• Collaborate with team members to minimize downtime and improve efficiency
