2nd Shift Maintenance Technician
About The Position
Cardinal LG, a laminated glass manufacturer in Jessup, is looking for a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician who is dependable, has a positive attitude, and works effectively in a team environment. Brief Job Description : The work will include maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing production and facilities equipment. On the job training provided with the above education. Preferred 2 years of industrial electrical, mechanical, welding, or HVAC work. Brief Job Description: The work will include maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing production and facilities equipment. Dress Code: PPE materials and gear will be provided as needed per task. Adherence to PPE will be mandatory.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Technical 2-year degree or a minimum of 1 year of verifiable industrial work.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Must be able to bend, twist, squat, kneel or stand for long periods of time
Nice To Haves
- 2 years of industrial electrical, mechanical, welding, or HVAC work.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing production and facilities equipment.
- Work on 3 phase 480VAC electrical equipment along with 240Vac, 120Vac and low voltage DC instrumentation.
- PLC controlled equipment.
- Mechanical work will be on pneumatic, some hydraulics and multiple chain drives and gearboxes.
- Other duties as assigned by Manager.
