Responsibilities: Identify the root cause of equipment malfunctions through observation, testing, and diagnostic procedures. Perform regular maintenance on machinery and equipment according to schedules or instructions. This may include cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting parts to prevent wear and tears. Repair or replace defective machine parts, components, or systems. This may involve using hand and power tools, specialized equipment, and potentially fabricating parts. Use various tools and equipment for maintenance and repair tasks, such as power tools, and other machinery. Fix or replace faulty electrical components, repair plumbing fixtures, patch walls, and address minor carpentry issues. Document completed work, tracking inventory, and maintaining records of maintenance activities. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and procedures. This includes maintaining a clean and organized work area. Assist in maintaining the inventory of spare parts and supplies. Work with other team members, supervisors, and sometimes clients to address maintenance needs and ensure smooth operations. Provide guidance and training to other personnel on basic maintenance procedures. Removing snow and ice from walkways.
