About The Position

JOIN OUR TEAM AS A MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN! Status: Full-Time, Part-Time Schedule: Day, Evening, and Weekend Shifts MBH is scheduled to open in June 2026, and we are building our team in preparation. Qualified candidates may be contacted as we begin scheduling interviews and planning onboarding timelines. Your Work Matters How will you make a difference? As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. You will support the day-to-day operations of the hospital by maintaining the physical plant, performing preventive maintenance, and responding to facility needs with efficiency and care. Working under the direction of the Director of Plant Operations, you will contribute to a well-maintained environment that directly supports patient safety, regulatory compliance, and overall hospital operations. Perform a wide range of maintenance tasks, including painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections of facility systems and equipment Support HVAC operations, including changing filters and maintaining system performance Maintain facility grounds to ensure a clean, safe, and professional appearance Operate and maintain emergency power systems Perform basic installation, repair, and testing of mechanical and electrical equipment Complete janitorial and facility support tasks as needed Follow proper safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures Handle hazardous and infectious materials in accordance with safety standards Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition Support infection control, OSHA regulations, and safety/risk management programs Respond to maintenance needs in a timely and organized manner Participate in facility-wide quality and performance improvement initiatives Y our Experience Matters What we’re looking for: Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school training preferred Experience: Experience in building maintenance, mechanical systems, or a related field is required Experience operating hand and power tools with a strong focus on safety Additional Skill Requirements: Knowledge of general building maintenance, basic mechanical systems, and safety standards Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision Strong problem-solving and organizational skills Ability to communicate effectively with team members and hospital staff Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond calmly in emergency situations Commitment to maintaining a safe, compliant, and well-functioning facility Your Care Matters What we provide for our team: 401(k) + matching Health insurance 100% company-paid life insurance coverage up to 2x your annual salary Vision insurance Dental insurance 100% company-paid long-term disability insurance Paid time off Paid holidays Cafeteria on site Employee engagement events Employee assistance program Employee recognition program Free parking What sets us apart: Career & training development opportunities Dynamic and inclusive work environment Engaged management team dedicated to your success A guiding mission and set of values that serve as both our northstar and yours, anchoring our collective purpose and aspirations Disclaimer: Select benefits are available only to full-time positions. Requirements
