About The Position

Peel Properties, LLC is an owner-managed real estate company with commercial buildings, apartments, and a marina in the DC, MD, and VA areas. The company is looking for a Maintenance Technician to work at College Parks Apartments located in Salisbury, Maryland. Maintenance Technician needed for apartment turn work.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of general building maintenance.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisor, co-workers, tenants, contractors, and the general public.
• Must be able to take direction.
• Must eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be able to pass a background screening
• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Must have a reliable form of transportation
• Detailed oriented
• Good time management
• Must be able to work independently with little supervision
• Valid Driver’s License with own transportation and hand tools.

Nice To Haves

• A/C certified is a plus
• Ability to do ceramic tile work
• Bilingual is a plus

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintainance of the grounds, buildings and apartments
• Inspect, maintain repair and replace building mechanical and electrical systems; dry-wall repair, painting, plumbing.
• Respond to emergency maintenance request as required (On-Call duties on a rotational basis)
