About The Position

THE ROLE: Entegris is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position will be based in our Colorado Springs-Rockrimmon, CO facility. This role is a critical part of the Maintenance team that is responsible for performing preventative maintenance tasks, ensuring all PM and repairs are done correctly and in a timely manner and coordinate with other support departments to understand needed changes. HOURS FOR THIS POSITION ARE 12:30PM-8:30PM MONDAY-FRIDAY. WHAT YOU’LL DO: Performs Total Productive Maintenance for all equipment related to manufacturing (75%). Monitor and maintain the building and facility equipment including but not limited to HVAC, air compressors, air driers, pumps, water system, and security (25%). Tracks repair history in the maintenance database (SAP) Installs automation equipment or projects in support of continuous improvement projects. Parts ordering and maintaining an accurate level of inventory for critical equipment. Work with injection molding presses: Electrical (AC/DC), Hydraulic, Basic Plumbing, Pneumatic and servo motors, sensors, and HMI interfaces. Troubleshoots and repairs electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic circuits as needed. Replace defective components to restore proper operation of equipment and mechanical systems. Fabrication on the building or equipment, such as using drill presses, grinders, tap and die, band saws, etc. Maintains accurate records and metrics related to machine downtime due to maintenance issues. Advanced knowledge in calibrations on equipment. Work on and troubleshooting of robots to program, sensors, pneumatic and setting up EOAT (end of arm tool) is a plus. Performs activities relating to 6s to drive better workplace standardization. Delivers timely responses to Gemba walk observations, quality audits, and 6s audit findings. Maintains a clean and safe work area. Performs duties in a safe manner and observes approved safety procedures. Communicates potential hazards immediately to supervisor and identifies and corrects potential unsafe conditions. Creates and writes equipment procedures and SOPs. Ability to plan and coordinate work with outside vendors or contractors for complex machine repairs or Facility projects. Requirements

  • HS degree or GED
  • 5-8 years of prior Maintenance and Facilities work or related Trade school completion.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprint with electrical, water diagrams and hydraulic schematic diagrams.
  • Understand the mechanics of injection molding presses: Electrica (AC/DC), Hydraulic, Pneumatic and servo motors, sensors and HMI interfaces.
  • Working knowledge of Robot equipment to program, fix sensors, pneumatic and setting up EOAT (end of arm tool).
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills in Electrical, Electronic and Hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprint with electrical, water diagrams and hydraulic schematic diagrams.
  • Understands policies and procedures to complete routine tasks.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of people including the management staff to ensure successful outcomes of planned initiatives.
  • Able to write and implement new procedures for existing and new equipment.
  • Ability to cross-train with other supporting departments to improve and increase production.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow documented processes and procedures and perform match computations and computer data entry.
  • Good attention to detail
  • Organizational and planning skills, communication skills and ability to adapt to workforce, work environment and customer’s needs.
  • Ability to use measuring devices, hand tools and power tools
  • Ability to repetitively pinch and grasp hand tools, repetitively twist, bend and reach upward and handle small screws, washers, fasteners, etc.
  • Works well independently and with a group on collaborative projects; able to take direction and instruction.
  • Ability to use ladders, lifts, platforms, and get forklift certified if required to perform job.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
