About The Position
The Maintenance Technician I repairs and performs maintenance on various food plant equipment, systems and related machinery panels.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Five plus years of experience in repair, maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of electrical components and wiring.
- Knowledge of electrical trouble shooting up to 480v.
- Must be able to work from extended heights.
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoots and repairs plant equipment, systems and related machinery panels.
- Performs routine preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Utilizes hand and power tools to facilitate work.
- Work on fabricating necessary parts as needed.
- Assists in other building maintenance or repair activities as needed.
