About The Position

Our Maintenance Technician will be in charge of performing ongoing facility maintenance and completing repairs on equipment. The duties of this position will include (but are not limited to): fixing machinery, plumbing, heating and wiring, inspecting buildings to confirm safety standards and scheduling major repairs with the building’s inhabitants in support of the company’s daily operations.

Requirements

  • Must pass a pre-employment background check including drug screening and TSA/CBP clearance.
  • High School diploma or GED certificate required.
  • Experience with electrical, carpentry, groundskeeping and HVAC required.
  • Possession of a valid Driver’s License in good standing that has been active for a minimum of 12 months required.
  • Physical stamina to handle a full shift of being active, standing, walking the property and completing projects.
  • Experience with Microsoft systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Collection of SSN as part of the background check process will be required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • PS is a 24-hour facility and as such we require fully open schedule availability and flexibility for all positions within our operational departments, including weekends, holidays, and early morning/late evening shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance such as fixing small structural damage, window, door or wall repairs.
  • Maintain HVAC equipment and systems – both preventative and solution based.
  • Preventative maintenance of Suites, member areas and employee areas – building, fixtures, furniture and equipment.
  • Spot and fix potential safety hazards to prevent injuries.
  • Tasks such as drywall repair, painting, basic plumbing, simple carpentry and basic electrical work.
  • Provide plumbing solutions for leaks, clogs or other drainage problems.
  • Time management of multiple projects, organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Safe working habits.
