About The Position

Ice Cream Specialties is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Mechanic for a challenging and rewarding career. As an ICS Maintenance Tech, you will be a valuable member of the team responsible for maintaining machines, facilities, and other necessary equipment to produce the company's novelty products. This role offers an hourly rate of $25.50, with an additional $1/hr shift premium for 2nd shift hours (3 PM-12 AM), totaling $26.50 per hour.

Requirements

• Mechanical background
• Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Welding-Tig/Stick
• Read blueprints (electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic)
• Plumbing skills (water, air and hydraulic)
• Ammonia Refrigeration knowledge
• Time management: ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
• Strong team player
• Communication skills: ability to communicate with a multitude of plant personnel as well as maintenance personnel
• The ability to work at heights up to 25’ a ladder or man lift
• The ability to work weekends is necessary

Nice To Haves

• Wastewater Treatment experience a plus!

Responsibilities

• Setting up machines for various products
• Trouble-shooting hydraulics, electrical and pneumatics
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
• Repair, rebuild and welding
• Lubrication, hand truck repair
• Building repair and maintenance
• Other duties assigned by supervisor
