Responsible for plant and building maintenance set forth by the facility Maintenance Supervisor. Follow plant maintenance procedures and preventative maintenance schedule. Ensure equipment, tools, and spare parts are accounted for and secured when not in use. Participate in preventative, predictive and emergency maintenance at the facility within safe, legal and contractually permissible limits. Maintain qualifications to perform tasks through ongoing training programs of new and existing equipment. Perform all functions necessary to ensure the efficient and reliable maintenance of the plant for optimized production levels. Perform the routine maintenance and preventative maintenance procedures. Ensure materials and supplies are available to complete daily assigned maintenance Follow tool control and inventory program to support routine maintenance. Track inventory and order parts. Organize workload amongst maintenance team members. Assist Maintenance Supervisor in overseeing the Preventative Maintenance program. Assist with the training of crew members and new employees. Ensure crew members are working in a safe manner at all times and following company policies. Ensure the maintenance shop is organized. This is a rotational shift: Monday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday one week, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday the following week from 5:30pm-5:30am
