Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Extensive hands-on experience working with machines and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Computer literate with proficiency using MS Office Suite, PMC, and AS 400 system as needed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with all Danboro departments and outside contractors to address maintenance requests, devise plans, and implement and communicate solutions.
  • Maintain existing preventative maintenance (PM) program through PMC system.
  • Ensure that safety standards are met throughout the department and that safety is addressed when developing and implementing work orders.
  • Scheduling work orders, personnel, equipment, and contractors.
  • Prepare employee evaluations and resolve employee issues as needed.
  • Develop, counsel and train staff as appropriate with dept. goals and objectives
  • Work with minimal supervision and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Prepare reports, develop metrics as applicable.
  • Maintain documentation as appropriate for key equipment, machinery, systems, and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Ability to organize, coordinate and implement administrative tasks as well as perform/complete work orders as needed.
  • Schedule, execute, and monitor results of tasks & work orders. Prioritize work orders to minimize machine downtime and costs.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve all machine and facility related issues as required
  • Purchase materials and supplies as needed to ensure an adequate supply of materials, equipment, and/or parts are available for repairs, work orders, or spares.
  • Perform other duties as required.
