Maintenance Supervisor -Skyline Mine
About The Position
OVERALL JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for the safe and efficient maintenance of equipment and processes by maximizing the effective utilization of the resources provided. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE : Supervise and provide direction to hourly employees in continuous miner, longwall maintenance and/or utility work. Plans, organizes, schedules and coordinates with Shift Supervisor all maintenance and/or utility projects. Supervises all aspects of safe and efficient maintenance of equipment and processes. Implements and maintains compliance with all safety policies and procedures. Task training of personnel as required.
Requirements
- Minimum of five (5) years of underground coal mining maintenance experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent communications skills both written and oral
- Excellent safety and attendance record
- Utah Mine Foreman Certification or ability to obtain
- MSHA Electrical Certification
- Willingness to work weekends
Nice To Haves
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
