About The Position

My client, an industry leader in flexible packaging manufacturing, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the manufacturing plant in the Barrington, IL area. Manage the supervision of the maintenance department within packaging manufacturing operations. Develop and lead hourly Maintenance employees in a high performance team environment. Develop the maintenance team to be capable of performing all electrical, controls or mechanical repairs needed for production. Manage a cost effective preventative maintenance program to assure continues operation of equipment. Demonstrate a commitment toward safety and quality as supervisor of the maintenance department.

Requirements

• Associates degree, technical certifications and/or a combination of work experience
• Minimum of 4 years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing plant
• Proven skills in the areas of electrical, PLC, and computer controlled equipment required
