Pay: Starting at $31.37 to $38.81 based on experience Shifts Available: Days 6:00AM to 2:30PM M- F Night 5:15PM - 5:30AM 2-2-3 Schedule Schedule: Depending on Skill Level and Business Need. Work with Value Stream Manager, Asset care manager, TSM, Work Group Leaders, Process Technicians, Maintenance Technicians, Line Technicians, Set-up Technicians, etc. to improve over-all line reliability and case attainment. KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS: Diagnose faulty production and related plant equipment with the minimum amount of supervision using the provided schematics, manuals, and drawings. Be able to diagnose and repair electro-mechanical problems, troubleshoot electrical problems and have a strong understanding of preventative maintenance strategies and be able to train others in doing these responsibilities. Be able to complete a set up and process the line in from scratch after a change over. Understand the functions of a lip roller and bagger so new products can run through this equipment, this will involve running trials, processing product in if the product does not satisfy the auxiliary equipment demands. Conduct R&D trials on the shop floor and in the Tech center Identify faulty parts and provide proper nomenclature in the form of a requisition in order that spares or replacements can be ordered Be knowledgeable of what and where spare parts are in the stores room and to observe stores room withdrawal and return procedure General working knowledge of machine shop equipment Must be team-oriented with leadership qualities and capable of leading co-workers in assigned tasks. Will be expected to maintain necessary records and established maintenance procedures. Understand and operate the sap and RTC programs within Pactiv Maintain a clean, safe working environment Responsible for additional specific duties related to each shift as assigned by maintenance Team Leader Work, train and have open communication with all members of your work group team Walk story boards though out work group and develop action plans for resolution to repeatable failures Work with other members of the workgroup on action items, which will improve line efficiency, by taking the lead on the line improvements, design of experiments and projects 24/7 On-call phone support for assistance/reporting to/by team Other duties as necessary

Requirements

  • General working knowledge of machine shop equipment
  • Must be team-oriented with leadership qualities and capable of leading co-workers in assigned tasks
  • Three to five years of experience in a related field
  • High school graduate required
  • Must be able to read and use precision type instruments such as micrometers and calipers
  • Speaking and presentation skills to conduct effective meetings
  • Work an 8 – 10-hour shift, standing and walking for extended periods
  • Climb
  • Heed safety warnings, devices, and alarms
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Lift and carry products weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Possess an adequate ability to do problem solving, establish cause, and affect relationships in an office and/or manufacturing environment

  • Completion of a vocational or trade school curriculum from an authorized school with a concentration in electro-mechanical courses desired
