About The Position

LabCorp is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Englewood, CO. In this role, you will perform maintenance throughout the laboratory such as general commercial building maintenance to include but not limited to HVAC, Plumbing, Carpentry and general maintenance. Application Window Closes: 1/22/26 Pay Range: $17.98 - $24.00 per hour All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant degree from a trade school is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, carpentry, refrigeration, plumbing, HVAC and painting preferred
  • Must have a Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
  • Must be at least 21 years’ old
  • Excellent communication skills; both written and oral
  • Basic computer and data entry skills; Excel is a plus
  • Must be able to pass color vision test
  • Ability to lift up-to 50 lbs

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant degree from a trade school is a plus

  • Basic computer and data entry skills; Excel is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assists in maintenance of all Facility equipment, i.e., Back up Generator, DI water system, HVAC.
  • Directs work of contracted sub-contractor
  • Research, troubleshoot, and resolve problems related to repairs of facility equipment
  • Provide guidance to requested work orders and handle complex maintenance problems.
  • Keeps leadership informed of progress, problems, and any factors affecting assigned work
  • Maintain files and records as required by the department, company, and various regulatory agencies
  • Maintains open lines of communication with department staff
  • Ability to travel between facilities using company vehicle
  • Assist with warehouse operations.
  • General building Maintenance, i.e., lighting, ceiling tile replacement.
