About The Position

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Maintenance Scheduler to
support the efficient work management process within our Maintenance Department.
This role plays a critical part in planning, scheduling, and coordinating
maintenance work while ensuring minimal disruption to operations. The ideal
candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate
across departments to keep equipment running safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous experience in a maintenance planning or scheduling role in an industrial setting.
• Working knowledge of SAP and other CMMS platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong understanding of safety practices in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with production and utility equipment/systems.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation (work orders, drawings, manuals).
• Experience analyzing maintenance data (OEE, downtime, costs).
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
• Regular interaction with internal stakeholders (Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, EHS, Finance, etc.)
• Coordination with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure work is properly planned and supported.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree or higher in a related field.
• 5+ years working in industrial maintenance, with at least 2 years in a scheduling or planning function.

Responsibilities

• Lead coordination meetings with Operations and Maintenance teams to align on equipment availability.
• Develop and manage weekly maintenance schedules, assigning tasks to the appropriate technicians.
• Prioritize work based on equipment criticality and operational impact.
• Ensure maintenance work is completed within scheduled timeframes.
• Confirm availability of parts and materials prior to scheduling jobs.
• Create and maintain job kitting processes to support efficiency.
• Update Bills of Materials (BOMs) in SAP as needed.
• Develop and maintain a rolling 4-week maintenance plan.
• Analyze equipment history and performance data to improve preventative maintenance strategies.
