About The Position

A Salaried Overtime Eligible Employee (L02)opening has become available in the Topeka facility for a Maintenance Receiver Admin. This is a fulltime, benefits eligible position. Hours are 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday – Friday, although flexibility is required to cover departmental needs as they arise.

Requirements

  • Appropriate handling of confidential information is a MUST
  • Knowledge of the SAP receiving software or equivalent
  • Ability to handle multiple and changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
  • No job performance contacts (for internal candidates)
  • Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds
  • Perform other job duties as assigned

Responsibilities

  • Provide customers with prompt, friendly, cooperative service
  • SAP, MyBuy, and Oracle receiving/ensure all shipments are logged and blind receivers are utilized
  • Cover parts window when the need arises and assist parts associates with projects
  • Unload and receive parts, equipment and supplies as they arrive
  • Daily documentation of parts received
  • Use of a forklift to unload and to store equipment
  • Unloading of Hazardous Chemicals (Tsunami)
  • Resolve receiving issues with vendors prior to receiving
  • Work with vendors and mechanics to recover warranty repair or replacement
  • Sort through Motor warranty bin and work with vendor on warranty motors
  • Attain warranty, OEM and repair items and document on spreadsheet
  • Work with purchasing and accounts payable to resolve paperwork issues
  • Send mis-shipments back to vendors
  • Prepare shipments of parts sent out for repair and track these items
  • Track paperwork for return materials/mis-shipments
  • Create stock codes, bin locations for urgent parts requests
