Meyer Logistics is a transportation company that serves as the backbone of Meyer Distributing’s shipping network. Meyer Logistics has a fleet of 500+ top-of-the-line trucks. The Maintenance Admin assists the Maintenance department with entering, organizing, and managing data for invoices, work orders, shipments, and deliveries. Position also assists with picking up supplies at local vendors on behalf of the maintenance team.
Requirements
- Must be knowledgeable of computers and working with applications for tracking documents.
- Must be knowledgeable of Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to give special attention to detail required.
- Must have ability to identify letters and numbers.
- Must be able to work effectively without constant and direct supervision.
- Must adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
- Must have ability to orally communicate with co-workers, supervisors and other employees.
- Must be able to work on feet for an extended period of time.
- Must have basic knowledge of chemicals and their uses.
Nice To Haves
- EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: High school diploma or GED required.
- Requires a valid driver’s license.
- EXPERIENCE: Previous maintenance or office administration experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Keying in and keeping track of key maintenance data and documents
- Enter invoices into system and maintain records
- Enter work orders into system and maintain records
- Keeping track of items being shipped and delivered
- Practice safety always
- May be asked to work weekends
- All other duties as assigned
