With our four manufacturing facilities in Warwick, New York, McAlester, OK, Dahlonega, GA and Kissimmee, FL we have more production capacity and expertise in galvanized steel, timber, and aluminum than anyone in North America. MAJOR PURPOSE OF THIS JOB: Work independently performing routine general maintenance and repair throughout the warehouse, office, and recreational areas.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a maintenance plumber or similar role (3-5 years’ experience in the field)
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of plumbing, drainage, and water supply systems.
  • Tool Proficiency: Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized plumbing equipment.
  • Physical Ability: Ability to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and handle physical tasks.
  • Communication: Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication for interacting with other employees and management.
  • Knowledge of local and national plumbing codes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
  • Must have reliable transportation

Responsibilities

  • System Maintenance: perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent breakdowns in restrooms, septic, and plumbing in general.
  • Repair and Installation: Fix leaks, clogs, and broke pipes, install new fixtures like toilets, sinks, faucets, and showers.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose plumbing issues and implement effective, code-compliant solutions.
  • Identifies potential problems to prevent premature and/or unexpected breakdowns.
  • Maintains and repairs plumbing systems carrying water, steam, chemicals, and fuel in heating, cooling, lubricating and other process piping systems.
  • Inspects high-pressure, air, steam, water, and gas systems to ascertain malfunctions.
  • Repairs or replaces plumbing fixtures, tests joints, and pipe systems.
  • Measure, cut, thread, bend, ream, and install pipe and pipe fittings.
  • Assemble pipe sections, tubing, or fittings.
  • Locates and marks position of pipe installations, connections, passage holes, or fixtures in structures.
  • Installs pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances or fixtures using hand or power tools.
  • Maintains accurate documentation of service calls and time management.
  • Maintain communication lines open between management and co-workers.
  • Maintains tools and machinery in good condition and uses all tools in a safety-conscious manner.
