About The Position

If you are an Plumbing professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting position for you! Based in our Eden Prairie, MN location, you will install or maintain plumbing systems that meet building trade requirements for facility or equipment. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Provides guidance and work direction to unlicensed plumbers while performing any plumbing work. Responds to emergency requests to eliminate unsafe or inefficient conditions. Installs new or modifies existing plumbing for various gases, compressed air, or water systems. Interprets facility layout drawings to modify drains or to install additional plumbing systems. Performs MES tests to monitor and report contamination levels of sanitary sewer or wastewater systems. Provides support to plant or office re-arrangement projects. Maintains soft water and de-ionizing water systems for proper operation. Performs other trade responsibilities as required and is available for emergency call-in when necessary. Provides a wide variety of plumbing assistance in support of work orders, projects and preventive maintenance. Understand software applications in use of the DI water system, welding equipment and preventive maintenance program. May hold licenses for additional specialties i.e. backflow prevention, fire sprinklers, etc. Uses facility Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to document all scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, emergency maintenance, and labor activities. Uses facility CMMS to identify opportunities for improving the facility equipment and labor performance. Must be willing to work at multiple facilities as required. Other duties as assigned. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree
  • Four (4) years industrial plumbing experience.
  • Journeyman's Plumber License
