Join our team and discover why we are a top veteran employer and Certified Great Place to Work™ SUMMARY: ASRC Federal Field Services provides logistical support at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in North Charleston (FLETC Federal Complex off Spruill Avenue). We are looking for a Maintenance Plumber to join our team. Description: Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems according to specifications and plumbing codes. Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings. Use a variety of hand tools and power tools. Cut and thread pipe using pipe cutters and cutting torch. Assemble, install, and repair plumbing fixtures such as sinks, commodes, bathtubs, water heaters, hot water tanks, garbage disposals dishwashers and water softeners. Repair and maintain plumbing by replacing washer in leaky faucets, mending burst pipes, and opening clogged drains and toilets. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2 years of recent experience as a plumber repairing indoor and outdoor plumbing systems.
  • High School Diploma/GED preferred.
  • Must be a US Citizen, and posses a valid U.S. Passport or REAL ID.
  • Must have a valid SC driver’s license and be able to operate a motor vehicle.
  • Must be able to lift 30 lbs. unassisted.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Must be able to pass a background investigation and pass a physical exam.
  • Must have availability M-F, 7am – 4pm, with occasional altered/extended shifts and weekends may be required at times.
